Greetings, I’m Sarah!

Sarah Truchon is an interdisciplinary artist based in Bakersfield, California. Her work focuses on memory, emotion, and how personal history lives within material. She uses found objects, wire, plaster, and fabric to build textured sculptures and installations that explore how we hold, lose, and remake our memories. Sarah earned her BA in Studio Arts from California State University, Bakersfield, and is completing her MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts at the University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe.
